Hotel Nena Centro

Nena hotel was the place to stay during our weekend of Dia de Los Muertos! We’re so glad we did accessibility to the main plaza was about 2 blocks away, the staff was amazing , the rooms were small yet cozy details in the rooms were incredible from the truffles to the robes and the fact that the hotel only has 13 rooms we felt as if in that weekend we were taken care of with high quality service and friendliness! We met Paco the owner which was very attentive and always there on site to greet us , mario and Andres were always attentive from helping us get a taxi chauffeur our bags recomendations etc, as well as Emma in the front office and the cleaning ladies kept our room extra tidy! In the restraunt right next door called La Dona, there was an excellent waitress named Letty, which made our breakfast (which was included) extra special daily! We would def return and choose no other place to stay when in SMA!

Beautiful small boutique hotel in a perfect central location. Room was large and beautifully furnished. Bed and linens were super comfortable. Ac worked perfect. Shower was a rain head shower but not enough pressure to take a proper shower if you are a female :[ Front desk was super nice and helpful and the restaurant was excellent. Bottle of wine with the room was an excellent red blend. Definitely a good choice in San Miguel!

This is an outstanding boutique hotel connected to a great restaurant (La Doña). The room we stayed in (Paquita) was farther away from the street, so it was pretty quiet for a downtown location. We highly recommend this place!

I just wanted to give a high five to a staff member of this hotel. I didn’t book this place but they didn’t care, they saw me hurt from my ankle and they loaned me a pair of crutches to help me get to my Uber which was up and around the street pretty hard walk for someone on crutches. Anyway thank you so much for the help even though I was not your guest. I’m sorry that i didn’t ask for his name, I was in pain at that moment.

We stayed here for a weekend visit to SMA, and were delighted with the attentive service, and the location. The room, while small, had everything we needed and the bathroom had great water temperature and pressure - not a sure thing in an old city. Unfortunately, our room was near the rooftop restaurant, which played music until late in the evening. We were warned about this by the front desk, and they did lower the volume at 10 p.m. when we complained our first night. If you go to bed early and are a light sleeper, don’t stay in room Isabel! The service really was exceptional, the room was spotless, the location is close to everything and the included breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again, just not in that room!

During middle of April, 2023, we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was really an excellent experience. We came at a slow time so got an upgrade for room (our friends failed to book any room in February as it was full). We stayed at room Johanna and did not feel like in a hotel room but in a house. The room has a small refrigerator, also has a terrace with a view to city and a Jacuzzi. All the staffs are very friendly and professional. The breakfast is free by orders. The hotel is located at city center and is very convenient to walk all sight-seeing locations. Overall we truly enjoyed our time here and strongly recommend this hotel.

Stumbled upon this hotel last minute and it was such a nice surprise! The hospitality, the cleanliness, the decor, and the views were all amazing! The bed was super comfortable and we got to enjoy the sky lounge some as well. The pool was an added bonus. We wish we could have stayed here more than just one night!

Very nice hotel.   Staff are all friendly and accommodating.  The rooms a good size with basic anmmenities, TV, heat/AC, minibar, couple of chairs, several drawers and space for hanging some clothes.  Bathroom is good sized with plenty of counter space and drawers for storage.  They offer some water in the bathroom for teeth brushing, etc.  Breakfast had 10 or so choices including both Mexican dishes and 2 egg dishes, all including fresh fruit, juice and bread.  The wi-fi was pretty good as we were able to stream videos without buffering.  Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SMA.
